Dr. Morana Jovan has extensive experience within both public and private equity markets. She is Venture Partner at MPM Capital, and board member of several publicly traded and private life science companies. At MPM Capital, Dr. Jovan worked closely with portfolio companies both in fund-raising and in attaining critical business development milestones.

Dr. Jovan joined MPM from Banque Syz & Co. in Geneva, Switzerland where she led the bank's activities in life sciences investments; including analysis and due diligence of the biotech sector.

Prior to transitioning to finance, Dr. Jovan was a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard University, Department for Developmental Biology, where she worked on protein uncaging. Dr. Jovan holds a PhD in Biophysical Chemistry from the University of Cambridge.
